We have installed 3 or 4 brands of windows in the past 14 years and have always come back to Simonton. None of these other windows have performed as well as the Simonton window. Simonton absolutely has the finest, fastest delivery time and the best service in the industry. That's why we will only sell Simonton windows.

When it comes to style and individuality, no other windows allow you the versatility like Reflections by Simonton 5500 windows. Whether it is stately Double Hung or a row of several Casements, every5500 product reflects unbeatable strength. Centered around welded construction with state-of-the-art thermal dynamics, 5500 windows stand as a monument to the Reflections name. The smooth, classic shape adds timeless charm to any interior design. And the attractive beveled exterior blends easily into any exterior construction - from wood and vinyl siding to stucco and brick. With lines that are clean and smooth, and a wide variety of grid patterns and styles, 5500 windows can be used to create both traditional and contemporary looks.

Thermal Dynamics
When it comes to thermal efficiencies, strategic energy efficiency features ensure Reflections 5500 windows are among the most thermally efficient products on the market today.

Insulating Glass Unit
Insulating glass units feature an airtight seal for optimum performance. Additionally, I.G. units in Reflections windows are set ¾" into the sash, ¼" more than most other replacement windows. The added penetration protects against conduction because the sash wraps the glass edges like a blanket, keeping the temperature of the glass warmer. This extra insulation also helps reduce the potential for condensation.

Low E/Argon-filled Glass
An essential all-season insulator, Low E coatings are comprised of transparent, microscopic layers of metal oxide applied to glass. In summer months, Low E glass keeps cool air inside while keeping hot air outside. In winter, Low E glass keeps warm air in and cold air out. Low E glass also blocks up to 84% of the ultraviolet rays, which can fade carpets, draperies and artwork. In addition, Argon gas, six times more dense than air, drastically reduces the transfer of heat and cold. Adding even more thermal efficiency.

Energy Star
Simonton Windows has become an ENERGY STAR partner to help homeowners choose the best window system for their needs. For optimum performance, Reflections 5500 windows can meet ENERGY STAR guidelines in all areas of the country.

When it comes to lasting dependability, Reflections 5500 windows are strong one-piece units coupled with innovative design features to ensure dependable performance year after year.

Fusion-welded Construction
Frames and sash feature mitered, welded corners for airtight construction.

Lap-Lok Meeting Rail
On Double Hung windows, the patented, unique meeting rail overlaps and interlocks both sash into a tight formation around fin seal weather-stripping to better protect against air infiltration.

Stainless Steel Constant Force ¾" Coil Spring Balance System
Double Hung sash are lowered and raised with ease by a tightly wound, non-corrosive coil spring - guaranteed to never need adjustment.

Denny Clip Pivot System
The unique disc-shaped clip on the pivot bar locks securely into the base of the coil spring balance - ensuring the sash raises and lowers easily.

Simonton Sill
A triple-stepped, sloped sill design is angled in a downward direction to force water away from the window. Compared to traditional sills, this design makes it difficult for water to penetrate the home during driving rains.

Integral Screen Tracks
All screen tracks are molded into the frame of the window to provide a smooth appearance.

Extruded Screen Frames
Screen frames are extruded for increased rigidity.

Contoured Extruded Lift Rails
Ergonomic lift rails are molded into the sash itself for lifetime performance.

Flush-mount Tilt Latches
Low-profile tilt latches are easily accessible and provide a smooth interior appearance.

Color-matched Glazing
Exterior color-matched glazing around the windowpane offers a smooth transition between the glass and sash frame.

Double-strength Glass
Optional double-strength glass refers to the thickness if the glass pane and offers increased resistance to damage
